Your adventure departs from the Kawaihae South Small Boat Harbor. It’s an easy, scenic 45 minute drive from Kailua-Kona town, and just minutes from the beautiful resorts and beaches of Waikoloa and North Kona.

 

From Hwy 270 turn into Kawaihae Harbor Gate 1. Head straight along to the open ocean and Gate 12 on your left. Continue around towards the boats, Dolce Vita will greet you at the guest dock next to the ramp.

 

Side note: GATE 13 is closed indefinitely as Kawaihae South Harbor Road was severely damaged by flooding (5/24). Factoring in 'Hawaiian Time', prevailing bets for re-opening are 2030 and beyond ;)
